Massage in Motion - Massage Services

The Massage in Motion team brings over 20 years of RAGBRAI massage experience to Kentucky. Both table and chair massages are offered based your specific preference.

Pricing for The Burn 2023 will be: $50 for 30min, $70 for 45min, $90 for 60min.

To help plan your sessions, all participants must be on the routes by 9am each morning (routes open at 7am). The majority of participants will return to base camp by 4pm each afternoon.

Bourbon Burn Athletic Training Services

The Spalding MSAT program has partnered with the Bourbon Burn 2023 to provide Athletic Training Services to its participants; specifically Stretching, Athletic Scrapping Massage, and Kineso-Tape. All proceeds from the services provided will be donated to the MSAT Education Program.

Kinesio-tape: Participants can request the application of KTape, $10 per body part. Tape provided.

Stretching: Participants can request clinician facilitated stretching services in 25-minute increments for lower body or upper body & torso. 25-minute session, $30. If participants sign up for full body (two 25-minute sessions in the same day) services will be discounted $10.

Scrapping: Scrapping is a form of athletic massage that facilitates the healing of muscle tightness, 25-minute session, $30.

Participants can set up 30-minute appointments by clicking on the button below. Walk-ins are welcome, but priority will be for those that sign up using the appointment system.

 

Dr. Michael Chapman, EdD, LAT, ATC is a licensed and certified athletic trainer that specializes in the care and prevention of athletic injuries.

 

In the Training Room - Mobile Recovery Services

The Training Room is back again to help our 2023 Bourbon Burn cyclists recover like an athlete!

They will be on site again this year providing Recovery Sessions and Normatec leg or hip compression to keep your legs fresh all weekend long. You can find them in the Bourbon Base Camp area each day and evening in the vendor area located right in the middle of base camp.

Renew Hydration: On-demand IV Services

Our friends at Hydration Renew are offering their IV services in base camp throughout the event weekend. What does their Bourbon Burn Rally bag consist of? It’s an entire liter of electrolyte infused fluids, a megadose of vitamin B complex to replace those lost in sweat, and dose of tri-amino acids to aid in muscle recovery.

It’s the ultimate concoction created to get you rehydrated and ready to do it all again the next day. Be sure to pre-book today, although some options will be available to purchase on site.
